Elysium Rugby is a rugby club, predominately NYC Metro based, which brings together players from different clubs to play a few matches and tournaments each year to enjoy the camaraderie of the game.
The goal is to be an entertaining brand of rugby, to play with a pursuit of excellence through adventurous and exciting play. The squad rotates on a match/tournament by match/tournament basis, so that the combinations are different, but the ethos is the same each and every time.
We look to continue our charitable endeavors with historical donations to the Parkinson’s Foundation and Play Rugby USA.
The Rules
- Players must be sourced by recommendation by a current or former Elysium Player
- Players must be down for the cause to raise money for charity
- A team must have >50% of a previous Elysium player-pool roster to be an official Elysium Endeavor
- A team may have no more than 4 players from any one club and 13+ Clubs must be represented on a roster
- Commitment for selection is a must; “Maybe” means “No” for our selectors.
